BIM4WB project partners recently held a collaborative workshop dedicated to identifying the core competences and key skills required of professionals working in the Building Information Modeling sector.<\/p>\n

The workshop brought together representatives from partner institutions to discuss the knowledge, technical abilities, and practical capacities that should be reflected in future BIM training programmes. The sessions focused on aligning educational content with industry expectations, European trends, and the evolving needs of the construction sector in the Western Balkans.<\/p>\n

During the working sessions, partners drafted an initial selection of BIM modules, marking an important milestone in the development of the project\u2019s training framework. These modules will form the foundation for future curricula and learning materials designed to support both students and professionals.<\/p>\n

The workshop also reinforced the importance of a competence-based approach to construction education. By defining clear learning outcomes and practical skills, the BIM4WB consortium aims to ensure that future training programmes are relevant, applicable, and responsive to real workplace demands.<\/p>\n

The consortium thanks all participating partners for their active engagement and valuable contributions to shaping the next phase of digital construction education in the Western Balkans<\/p>\n
